Inside James May's pub: The Grand Tour star's stunning country inn where fans can visit

James May has opened a new pub in the Cotswolds, offering fans of The Grand Tour a chance to visit.

The Royal Oak in Swallowcliffe is a 17th-century inn that has been extensively renovated by May and his team.

The pub offers a range of traditional British dishes, as well as a selection of real ales and wines. May said he was inspired to open the pub after visiting the area while filming The Grand Tour. "I've always loved the Cotswolds and I thought it would be a great place to open a pub," he said. "The Royal Oak is a beautiful old building and I'm really proud of what we've done with it."

The pub has been decorated in a traditional style, with wooden beams and open fires. There is also a large garden area, perfect for enjoying a drink on a summer's day.

May said he hopes the pub will become a popular destination for fans of The Grand Tour. "I know a lot of our viewers are interested in cars and motorcycles, so I've made sure the pub has a good selection of motoring magazines and books," he said. "I've also put in a few nods to The Grand Tour, such as a framed photo of the show's presenters."
