Keeping track of the Swift-Kardashian feud has been a rollercoaster ride for fans. The initial rift emerged in 2009 when rapper Kanye West interrupted Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. West's actions sparked a public feud between Swift and Kardashian, who at the time was married to West.
The feud escalated in 2016 when Kardashian leaked a phone conversation between Swift and West, in which Swift appeared to give permission for West to use her name in his song "Famous." However, Swift claimed she had never approved the lyrics in question, causing further controversy.
